By BILL FOLEY Picton, Ont., driver Tim Kerr thought his night had really turned around when he started outside of the front row in the Saturday qualifiers for the World Finals for the Super DIRTcar Series big-blocks. But, unfortunately things just didn’t go his way at all. After the first round of time trials and heats he was headed to the B-Main on Friday night and then he crashed with Tim Fuller as the pair drove through turns one and two in Saturday's heat race. We would just like to take a moment to send a very big thank you for all the amazing support we receive from our sponsors, race community, family and friends! Especially this weekend when everything was going wrong. Bad luck has been following us all season long it seems and it is so encouraging to see the support we receive day in and day out! A special thank you to Zach Aubertine of Zero3 Motorsports. Zach- who we call the Captain for very good reason, stayed up all night to bring us some new body panels next day. Also the awesome crew of Chris Cunningham Racing 29K who literally threw all hands on deck to get the car raceable again Friday night for the second feature. Lastly our own amazing crew, thank you so much for your never ending hard work and dedication!
Another special thank you to the people of Gypsum Racing, the generosity from all of you is so greatly appreciated!
We are hoping to finish the season on a strong note!
